As of today I am 17weeks prego!! I just can't believe it! It’s gone by too fast. Before ya know it I'm going to have an actual baby...then what am I going to do...JK =) But the reality of it is a tad scary I have to admit.
Update; morning sickness is gone, food is now appealing, and I am no longer wearing ‘normal’ pants just prego pants…and man ‘ol man I’m not sure why I didn’t make that change years ago! They are darn comfy and look like regular pants! I have also discovered that being pregnant is truth serum. It is difficult tolerating events outside of the norm, so instead I impulsively ssssay what’s on my mind instead of politely working through my thoughts. The phrase “I’m sorry” is a good friend of mine =)
I have been blessed in the weight department in not gaining since I’ve been pregnant. Now that I think about it, maybe Jason has set our scale on a permanent ‘weight’ setting to help me feel better. That would have been really smart of him!! Or maybe it has something to do with my food repulsion during the first three months of my pregnancy?? Who knows! I’m definitely not complaining! I’ve been meaning to post pictures of the baby bump. Hmmm…I’ll try to remember this weekend.
My mom and her friend Loa are visiting for two weeks. We went to Babies R’ Us and checked out the baby digs. I think I mentally spent a few grand that day. I’m going to have to rethink this whole thing. I mean, do babies really need a crib? Whatever happened to throwing a few blankets on the floor for kids and calling it good! =)
So BIG excitement! Next Friday…yes 7days from today is the ultra sound of ultra sounds! I’m taking my detective classes and magnifying tools to go on an anatomy finding extravaganza! I am super excited!!! We get to find out what we are having. It better be a boy or a girl! I’m not sure I could take anything else. I’ll keep you posted!
